Clos Henri is the brave new frontier for the Bourgeois family. Already in their 10th generation of wine-making in Sancerre (Henri Bourgeois), they have taken their profound understanding of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir to the virgin terroir of Marlborough. Farming biodynamically, they produce great New Zealand wines with French sensibility. Drier and more mineral than many Marlborough wines, they are terroir-driven: completely satisfying, but with endless subtleties.
