Anderson Valley, Mendocino CA

Milla Handley started her own winery in 1982 with the aim of making terroir-driven wines in the relatively cool climate of the Anderson Valley. While not as well publicized as many of her colleagues in the Central Coast or Oregon, Milla makes some of the most seductive and balanced Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on the west coast. Freshness and balance characterize all of her wines. She produces a range of estate wines from the 29 acres of vines in Anderson Valley, as well as others using some fruit winegrower partners in the Anderson Valley and elsewhere in Mendocino. Total production is low at 12,000 cases.
