Vincent Dureuil is a quiet star. In 2013 Bourgogne Aujourd’hui dubbed him Winemaker of the Year. With roots in his village going back to the 13th century, he could have placidly continued down the same road as many of his peers, making good Rully wine, but nothing exceptional. Instead he modelled his practices on the greatest domaines of the Cote d’Or. He credits ‘good peasant sense’ with his subsequent success.
He holds 17 hectares, mainly in the Cote Chalonnaise, but also in the Cote de Beaune and Cote de Nuits. The domaine is certified organic. He also purchases grapes from growers he admires. The available wines vary from year to year, so feel free to check with us.
